The CCAC Mandate is to increase and broaden opportunities for our local citizens to participate in Cultural activities that shall include:
a. To help coordinate the work, and programs of the Cultural groups in Chetwynd area.
b. To Stimulate and Encourage the development of Cultural projects and activities.
c. To render services to all participating groups.
d. To Foster interest and pride in the Cultural History of our community.
e. To act as a clearing house for information on cultural projects and activities.
f. To interpret the work of cultural groups to our community, enlist public interest, and promote public understanding.
g. To bring attention of Civic and Provincial authorities the cultural needs of our community.
